4 D's to Success.

"He who is silent is forgotten; he who does not advance falls back; he who stops is overwhelmed; out distanced, crushed; he who ceases to grow becomes smaller; he who leaves off, gives up; the condition of standing still is the beginning of the end." Henri Fr.

I am yet to meet an individual who does not wish to be successfully. It's very easy to wish for something, all you have to do is sleep and dream on it. Success, however is not about wishing; which is just an illusion that what you wish for is actually true, but rather working hard towards what you wish you had is the main deal.  In few paragraphs, I would like to show you the 4 D's to help you to reach your purpose in life.

First is DESIRE, which is simply to express a wish for something. Whatever you want to be in life or what you want, you need to first desire it, a longing for such. you need a drive to keep you going. Desire is the key to motivation but it's determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of your goal, a commitment to excellence, that will enable you to attain the success you seek If you however really want something, you need to have the gut to take everything to obtain it.

Second is DEDICATION, a commitment in attaining. you need to dedicate yourself to the work you have. for example, if I desire to be a singer, I need to put all my strength, my devotion into practice to achieve this aim. I will need to work hard, put all my resources into committing my self to this task.

Next is DETERMINATION, a firmness of purpose. Determination helps you to stand your ground regardless of storms on your way in achieving your purpose.Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try. Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The Slogan 'press on' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race. Come rain, come shine, you need to be determined to pressed forward your goal, nothing can stop you from achieving your purpose, only yourself can be your own enemy. Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.

Final is DISCIPLINE, a bridge between goals and accomplishment. For you to accomplish your goal, however small they may be, you need to discipline yourself, Disciple represses the weakness in you, it helps you to be focused about your goals. Joyce Meyer said in her book, the secret to true success, 'when discipline is sown, like a good seed, it yields a harvest of things that fulfil and satisfy is, the things that makes us happy and release peace and joy in our lives'.

I challenged you to take one your tasks out of your numerous lists of things to do ( you know what I mean), try the 4 D's, Desire, Dedication, Determination and Discipline. Shout out your dream, let it be known, proceed in accomplishment and stand firm. This day I pray for the spirit of excellence, wisdom, power, sound mind and peace upon your life in Jesus name. Have Fun.

Regards
